Wetwork
If you’re not aware of it (hell, I wasn’t, till I looked it up), “Wetwork” is an expression or euphemism for murder or assassination, alluding to the spilling of blood. But it’s also a pun in this excellent Eli-Cross feature from Vivid, since a lot of the assassins involved are getting their dicks wet from hot-to-trot, sopping pussies—and some pretty (apparently) well-lubed female anuses. The story involves international assassin Anthony (the ubiquitous Steven St. Croix, in yet another movie), who wants to walk away from the secret killing organization to which he’s connected. In turn, for his ‘last’ assignment, Anthony is instructed to ‘liquidate’ a lovely—but lethal, as we soon discover—“artist” named Catherine (in the scrumptious form of Penny Pax), with our two lead characters eventually joining forces, kind of, as more bodies pile up than in a Shakespeare tragedy. Action-filled plot aside, however, there’s plenty of excellent (as in energetic and, frequently, nasty) sex throughout “Wetwork,” all in all making it one of the year’s very best features.

Actually, to me, the most scorching sex scene rapidly unfolds right at the beginning of the picture: when Anthony hammers an obviously high-priced hooker, in the luscious and filthy form of underrated Belgium star Eva Karera. Aside from her deliriously curvaceous body (love that juicy ass and those big, bumped-up boobs), plus her sexy-as-hell mug, Karera is up for anything, especially rough sex. She chokes on cock (all the way to the base), loves getting jack-hammered, and revels in a truly pounding anal session, highlighted by a fanny-tastic display of ATM. Karera absolutely rocks here.

The other sex episodes don’t disappoint, either. Penny Pax gets penetrated by both Richie Calhoun (non-anal) and St. Croix (anal)—separately, that is—and is always a pleasure to watch, with her terrific all-natural body, which the passionate and perverted Pax KNOWS how to properly work. Claire Robbins, still looking damn good, gets heatedly banged in the bum by Derrick Pierce, who effectively plays a dual role as twin assassins. And the threesome between Penny, Kimberly Kane, and Danny Wylde is a winner, even though (for whatever stupid reason) Kane doesn’t take it up the shitter. There are plenty of other things to like about “Wetwork,” as well. The videography for one is excellent, both in terms of the sex scenes and the overall product, making you feel as if you’re really watching a mainstream outing. The death sequences are also, for the most part, creatively handled in a memorably effective fashion. The final, well-paced shoot-out scene is engaging, and actually highly reminiscent of the cat-and-mouse chase at the end of the classic 1971 Don Siegel crime movie, “Dirty Harry,” particularly as it unravels in an old, rickety, circuitous mill of sorts. Additionally, while the story is, at times, a bit convoluted, we’re treated with a great ending, and I’m talking about THE very final shot here, which is one of the best—as in uniquely ambiguous—I’ve seen in porn. And, lastly, the fact that there isn’t a condom in sight is a big fucking plus, indeed.

For a porn movie, “Wetwork” is about as close as you’re gonna get to a mainstream title, which is why couples should eat it up, while no-nonsense viewers will similarly appreciate it, seeing as all sluts involved deliver the goods—especially Ms. Karera!
