According to developer Christopher Yee, Pushy (ChristopherYee.ca/pushy) is a responsive off-canvas navigation menu that uses CSS transforms and transitions. These menus are a staple of mobile device compatible navigational systems and popular on other platforms as well.

Pushy flies out from the side of a website to provide menus and collapsible submenus, and automatically closes the menu when a link or the site overlay is selected.

Pushy offers smooth performance on mobile devices using Chrome (Android 4.x) or Safari (iOS 8+), as well as desktop computers using the Chrome, Firefox, IE 9-11 or Safari (Mac) browsers. Users of IE 7-9 browsers have a jQuery animation fallback for support of legacy systems.

Pushy requires jQuery 1.9+ — and makes life easy for users of WordPress 3.6, through its PushyPress Retina-ready responsive theme, based upon Bootstrap 3 and integrating Pushy support for off-canvas navigation.
