The Spearmint Rhino location in Sheffield, U.K. — which had been in operation for 18 years and was recently the subject of a controversial campaign by local and national SWERF (Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminists) groups — has surrendered its sexual entertainment venue license.
A judge in London has ruled against nine women, who had been secretly filmed by private investigators hired by a fringe group of anti-porn crusaders while they were working at two UK franchises of the Spearmint Club strip club chain, rejecting their application for anonymity.
