Italy's cash-strapped government has decided to raise taxes on one of the country's few vibrant industries, pornography, to help harness the burgeoning budget deficit.
Part of U.S.-led Operation Predator, Italian police raided dozens of homes over the weekend and located an estimated 96 child porn suspects, mostly middle-aged, upper middle-class men. The investigation took nine months to come to fruition, although no arrests have yet been made.
