Digital Playground Optimizes Site for Apple iPhone

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Continuing its longtime commitment to high-tech gadgets and technology, Digital Playground has optimized its official website for Apple's iPhone.

The new version of the site launched last Friday, the same day as the release of the new version of the iPhone. Company founder Joone said that he and his team had been developing the iPhone-friendly portal for a year.

"We've always had the goal of making our content available in as many places as possible," he said. "Quality porn that's easily accessible. One of the great parts about how the iPhone directly accesses our webpage is that all of our content is available to members. We are not bound by the rules or stipulations of a network operator. Now the new version of the iPhone will allow for instant streaming, so you can immediately watch our films wherever and whenever you want."

Digital Playground's site joins Playboy's online portal as one of the highest-profile adult companies to exploit the iPhone's growing popularity.

Joone and his team were also one of the first companies to offer prime content for the iPhone, having offered hundreds of trailers and hardcore scenes for the platform as early as June 2007.

The company is offering membership to its paysite for $19.95 per month from the iPhone. A full membership, which would be accessible from an iPhone or a computer, is $29.95 per month.
