Reports Say Gwyneth Paltrow Buying Hustler Hollywood Spot, Building New Nightclub

LOS ANGELES — Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly bought the Hustler Hollywood Sunset Strip property and plans to turn it into a swanky Arts Clubs similar to the one in London and Aspen.

Paltrow and her business partner Gary Landesberg are said to have purchased the prime spot from Hustler founder Larry Flynt. The existing Hustler Store will be moving to a location near the Kodak Theater.

Although LFP spokesperson Arthur Sando would not confirm or deny the report, he did tell The New York Post that the store building is in escrow and that it wil be moving to a new location in Hollywood later this year. “The current location will remain open until that time.”

Paltrow’s new club will have a chi-chic restaurant, a nightclub/lounge, and host trendy cultural events like poetry readings.

Membership will reportedly cost more than the $2,000 up front, and $2,000 a year fee required at the London club.

The new club will also enforce a strict dress code.
