Skye Does Return Shot on 'Dexter'

LOS ANGELES — Performer Ryder Skye will appear on Showtime's "Dexter" — the second episode she's appeared in this year — scheduled to air on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Skye wouldn't discuss what she'll be doing on "Dexter," fearing she will give away this week's cliffhanger ending.

"I'm on the show and I'm a fan," she said. "But I've already got into trouble with some friends I talked to and who saw the last episode. If you're a fan of the show, you should check out this Sunday's show, and even if you've never seen it you should still check out 'Dexter' — it's a great series."

Skye's other recent mainstream appearances have included a segment on the talk show "Maury," as well as appearances on "Entertainment Tonight" and last summer's big-screen movie "Sex and the City." She also was quoted significantly in an article in "Details" magazine.

"I enjoy being on camera and whether I'm on an adult or mainstream set, I want my fans to be entertained and enjoy what I'm doing," she said. "I always want to be a positive, pro-sex representative for this business and, most of all, show that a woman can be empowered and enjoy being a porn star."

New episodes of "Dexter" air on subscription cable channel Showtime Sundays at 9 p.m. EST and PST and are repeated through the week.
