James Caan Cast in Mallick's Mainstream 'Middle Men'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actors James Caan, Gabriel Macht, Peter Stormare and Rachael Taylor have been cast in the mainstream film "Middle Men," about the beginning of the adult Internet industry, Variety reported.

Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi already have been cast in the film, which is being produced by ePassporte owner Christopher Mallick's mainstream production company, Oxymoron Entertainment.

Press information about "Middle Men" says it "centers on a straight-and-narrow businessman who builds the first online billing company dealing exclusively with adult entertainment and finds himself in the middle of a whirlwind filled with starlets, con men, Russian mobsters, federal agents and international terrorists — all while trying to hold on to his marriage and family."

The film will be George Gallo's first directing assignment. The script was written by Gallo and Andy Weiss. Gallo has written "Midnight Run" and "Bad Boys 2."
