Webmasters participating in the affiliate or video feed link programs at the site can join the notification system by sending a text that reads "follow cblwebmaster" to 404040 on their cellphones and then replying to the verification text that follows. Text messages will be sent anytime a major site upgrade is completed, when there is camera downtime or customer service is announced.
Company representatives stress that the new system will be used sparingly and strictly for major site announcements.
