Kink.com to Do Demos, Model Recruiting at Folsom

SAN FRANCISCO — Online fetish producer Kink.com has announced that it will be actively recruiting new models, as well as performing live demonstrations of BDSM, flogging, rigging and other lifestyle activities at the 25th annual Folsom Street Fair, to be held on Sept. 28 on Folsom St. in the SoMa area of San Francisco.

Kink.com website directors that will be making appearances at the company’s booth space include Van Darkholme, Isis Love, Princess Donna and Lochai, as well as expert rigger Lew Rubens. Kink models LaCherry Spice, Natassia Dream, Wolf Hudson and Nick Moretti also will be on hand.

"This is a really important chance for us to meet up with some new models," director Darkholme said. "The leather community is full of hot, kinky guys who are curious about appearing on camera, but haven't made that step yet. This gives them a chance to get to know us and for us to make contact with them."

Darkholme launched BoundGods.com in July, one of the family of Kink.com members sites and the first gay bondage site on the roster. An expert in the art of shibari [Japanese rope bondage], Darkholme will demonstrate his skill at rigging on Wolf Hudson and Nick Moretti.

Other expert riggers will also demonstrate their techniques, including Lochai, who recently took the helm of Hogtied.com, one of Kink’s oldest websites. Lew Rubens, Kinks’ bondage consultant also will show off his skills for fairgoers.

Longtime Kink director Princess Donna will promote her latest project PublicDisgrace.com, which went live at the beginning of Septenmber. The new site is shot in Europe and features scenes of female models tied, punished and having sex in public places, including in parks and on commuter trains.

Representing the TSSeduction.com members site, TS performers LaCherry Spice and Natassia Dream will be actively recruiting dominant TS tops and male bottoms as potential performers for the site. It also will be a rare opportunity for Spice and Dream to meet-and-greet fans. They will be accompanied by TSSeduction.com director Isis Love.

"Natassia and LaCherry really want to meet their fans — that’s really important to them," Love said.

"This gives the fans an opportunity to meet two of the world’s most gorgeous transwomen looking totally fine in latex,” she added. “We’ll be doing recruitment both for TS tops and male bottoms — we love having new talent at TS Seduction, and this lets us get out there in the community and find the super hot trannies and the guys-next-door who really want to know what the site is all about."

The Folsom Street Fair is the sixth largest outdoor street fair in the state of California, and last year’s event attracted more than 400,000 attendees. The event is the culmination of Leather Pride Week, and proceeds from the event go to benefit nonprofit organization Folsom Events, which funds GLBT and women and children’s charities in the Bay Area and nationwide.

On Saturday, the day before the fair, Kink.com will welcome visiting media for tours of its headquarters at the San Francisco Armory building, in the Mission district area of San Francisco. The company purchased the Armory in January 2007, after the building had stood vacant since the mid-‘70s. Kink currently houses their administrative offices there, as well as using the unusual space as production sets for content shoots.

Those interested in tours of the Armory can contact Thomas@kink.com . "Folsom Street Fair is the No. 1 holiday of the San Francisco fetish community, so we look forward to it every year,” Kink founder and CEO Peter Acworth said “This will be a chance for Kink.com to get out there, meet our fans and let everybody see what we’re like in person."
