Sunny Leone Launches SunLust Pictures With N.Y. Bash

LOS ANGELES — Vivid contract performer Sunny Leone has announced a gala launch party in New York City, to coinciding with the Exxxotica adult consumer show, which takes place this week in New Jersey.

The party will be on Friday, Sept. 12, at Plumm nightclub located at 246 W. 14 St., in New York City. Leone will attend Exxxotica as well, doing promotions for Vivid and her new company.

In a previous XBIZ article, Leone said she will remain a Vivid contract performer and that Vivid Entertainment will be the distributor for her new studio. SunLust Pictures will focus on glossy, high-end glamour productions with a personal touch from the popular starlet.

“We definitely want to create movies that will appeal to many different niches,” Leone said. “We are releasing Vivid type quality films, so everyone who is watching will get something that is high quality but created by myself and my partner. I plan to direct, create, write and produce all the movies we make. I love the idea of owning my content and making all the money from my content.”

Leone’s partner Daniel Weber said, “We are all very excited about SunLust. Sunny has been one of the top adult stars for a while. Her recent successful crossover into mainstream films has us very excited for this next venture.”

The launch of the new production company also follows a recent revamping of Leone’s flagship website, SunnyLeone.com.

The launch event will begin at 10 p.m., with open bar from 10-11 p.m. DJs will spin the dance mix.

"We want everyone to relax and have a good time," Leone said. "So a real happy hour will help loosen everyone up for the great entertainment we have planned for the party."
