“Everyone in the company really enjoys the old comedies like ‘Porky’s,’ ‘The Last American Virgin’ and ‘Animal House’ — not to mention porn — so we decided to combine the two,” Shane’s World owner Jennie Grant said.
Grant said the company had been planning the project for quite some time but had to hold off production until it had all the right pieces in place.
“We found some great actors, came up with a great concept, and knew it would be something our audience would find highly entertaining,” she said.
While Shane’s World was intent on making a funny movie, Grant said the studio made sure to include plenty of sex.
The final product, she said, draws upon elements from two opposite style of filmmaking: gonzo and features. Specifically, it blends the hard-driving sex usually associated with gonzo and the high production values of a feature film.
“Nerdz” stars Hillary Scott, Katsumi, Karina Kay, Avy Lee Roth and Alexis Malone.
