Adam & Eve Celebrate Release of ‘Roller Dollz’ With Party at Roxy

LOS ANGELES — Adam & Eve held a party for its new release “Roller Dollz” at the Roxy on Sunset Strip last night in celebration of the planned Sept. 9 release of the film.

The party began at 7 p.m. with a DJ spinning and went into the evening with a performance by Funzalo recording artists the Mother Truckers.

The event was organized by Plaid Bag Media’s Peter Reynolds, who found the Texas-based rock/country fusion band while at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin.

“I’m all about merging adult and music to cross promote,” Reynolds told XBIZ. “We’ve had the band doing videos with Adam & Eve contract girls. I love doing stuff like that, where audiences for music and adult become one and the same.”

The event was attended by former Adam & Eve contract girl Ava Rose and current exclusive Bree Olson as well as Zero Tolerance contract star Courtney Cummz. Alektra Blue, who is now signed with Wicked, and Deja Vu contract dancer Sunny Lane also attended.

"Roller Dollz" director James Avalon, who was also in attendance, said that the film was the biggest project he’d ever worked on. He told XBIZ that the best part for him was getting to spend time with the ladies of the film.

“I like to live for the moment,” Avalon said. “And when you’re surrounded by girls like Alektra, Bree and Ava Rose, life can’t get much better than that.”

Other attendees included X-Play’s Jeff Mullen and Scott David and industry personality Porno Dan doing video interviews for iPorn.

The event was co-sponsored by indie radio 103.1 FM and iPorn.com.
