‘Another Gay Sequel’ Has Sizzling Theatrical Release

PHILADELPHIA — TLA Releasing has announced a strong $8,700 per-screen average this past weekend for the raunchy indie comedy “Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!”

The film premiered Friday, Aug. 29, in New York City, Los Angeles and Ft. Lauderdale and took in a cumulative $26,155 for an $8718 per-screen average.

TLA Releasing plans to expand the film’s release into 20 additional markets over the coming weeks. First up are San Francisco and Chicago on September 5. Palm Springs, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, San Diego and Seattle are slated for September 12.

“Another Gay Sequel” (and its 2006 predecessor “Another Gay Movie”) was written and directed by Todd Stephens.

Like “Another Gay Movie,” the sequel features cameos from a number of gay adult personalities, among them Brent Corrigan, Colton Ford and Michael Lucas.
