Various tabloids, including NewKerla.com, reported that glamour model Katie Green had appeared in a lesbian photo pictorial shot in Portugal.
Green had been named as Wonderbra's latest spokesmodel earlier this month. In the adult photo spread, she performed with two other models, Kayleigh Thewlis and Tabatha Gilpen.
Green's tenure as a Wonderbra spokesmodel began with an underwear-only march through the streets of London with hundreds of other women to promote a new campaign. The company wanted to reach out to curvier women with the stunt, which promoted a new selection of bras that range in size from D to G.
The rally culminated with a photo-mosaic billboard featuring all of the women and accompanied by the slogan, "Because we're more than a handful."
"This is the most inclusive lingerie billboard in history and we're so proud of our 1,000 girls," a company spokesperson said. "They all look amazing."
Wonderbra has been burned like this before. In April, spokesmodel Dita Von Teese garnered tabloid attention with her previous experience in such hardcore titles as Andrew Blake's “Pin-Ups 2,” which came out in 2000.
Von Teese had been announced as the face of women’s underwear manufacturer Wonderbra on Jan 21.
But despite the tabloid hoopla, Wonderbra probably won't take any punitive action against Green. Von Teese recently unveiled her collection of brasseries for the company.
