“I have been a fan of Dark Alley for such a long time,” said Mathews. “I wrote them personally and told them I was going to turn down every offer I got until they let me do a scene for them.”
Performer-turned-director Owen Hawk said it took a few months to find the perfect “down and dirty role” for Mathews. Fetish films typically feature older, seasoned performers — particularly when it comes to fisting and other extreme sexual fetishes. Dark Alley’s “Tattoo Twinks” takes a different tack.
“Watching young guys like Tristan and [costar] Brett Redman really get into the extreme sex is something special,” Hawk said.
A director’s cut edit is available through DarkAlleyMedia.com and includes the “really filthy fucking,” including that buzzed-about Mathews/Redman vignette.
However, squeamish consumers can pick up the retail edit. That version features more traditional suck-and-fuck scenarios, but with darker flavors added to the mix.
Mathews has been promoting “Tattoo Twinks” with appearances around Los Angeles, including MJ’s Bar in Silverlake, Calif. to headline their “Porn Star Alley” weekly meet-and-greet and an interview with internet radio show “Bottoms Up!” on Rude.com; both hosted by Jason Sechrest .
Mathews has also been in the gossip blogs following his recent marriage to fellow performer Andy Kirra.
