“Right now we have several dozen old movies digitally re-mastered and on DVDs, for sale through the IVD website and our sales reps. We’re probably at about 100 Blue Vanities titles, with hundreds more to come," IVD Public Relations Manager Alexandra H told XBIZ. "Their slogan is 'smut from the past,' and antique erotica seems about as hot right now as pin-ups are in the tattoo world. Everyone is asking for it. Blue Vanities is retro porn — but the best part is that’s it’s never been seen before, so the DVDs make for great additions to any vintage erotica collection.

The Blue Vanities library is made up of vintage U.S. and European erotica. It includes stag films, burlesque stripper performance films and loops from peepshows and arcades, in color and black-and-white, dating from the 1920s to the 1970s, many shot in film format. The company is in the process of cataloging and digitally mastering these films for DVD release.
