As a part of this promotion, X-Play has also fired a shot across the collective bows of every studio in town by declaring "Not Bewitched XXX" the "best comedy of 2008."
Co-producer Scott David explained that he and his creative team plan to follow up — and capitalize – on the success of their previous adults spoof.
“For the people that love our Brady Bunch spoof Not the Bradys XXX, we think they’ll enjoy Not Bewitched XXX which is by far the best porn movie we have ever created and hopefully fans and critics will agree that it is funny as hell,” David said.
X-Play said that they plan to release a new trailer for "Not Bewitched XXX" every week until the movie's September release. Such an ambitious promotional plan will pit it against Digital Playground's highly anticipated sequel, "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge," also slated for a September release.
“This has never been done before in porn so we’re going to have some fun promoting the movie,” co-producer Jeff Mullen said.
Digital Playground hasn't divulged the details of its promotional campaign for "Pirates II," but the company did say to expect a comprehensive slate of announcements and other events leading up to the movie's release.
The cast for "Not Bewitched XXX" includes Jenna Haze, Teagan, Sasha Grey, Eva Angelina, Nina Hartley, Sunny Lane, Aurora Snow, Madison Ivy, Daisy Layne, Kandice Nicole, Kelly Skyline, Marli Jane and Winter Sky.
