David Lord Arrested in Connection to Prostitution Ring

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Adult film director David Lord was arrested today and charged with perjury in connection with an investigation into an alleged prostitution ring involving Hungarian nationals.

Lord, who’s real name is David Allen Crawford, was arrested today by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers for perjury relating to false statements he allegedly made on the green card application of his “spouse” Agnes Jeges, who the government says Lord married in order for her to remain in the U.S.

According to the criminal complaint filing, Crawford entered into a sham marriage with Jeges and falsely stated that the two lived together. Court documents also state that Jeges, who was arrested today, worked as a prostitute for Angela Csutai of Van Nuys, Calif.

Today’s arrests are the results of an investigation into Csutai’s alleged prostitution ring that she ran out of her Sherman Oaks apartment from 2004-2006. The government claims Csutai procured Hungarian women to work at the brothel and then set them up in sham marriages, enabling them to reside in the U.S.

Accused of running the prostitution ring, Csutai was arrested June 17 and charged with perjury and making false statements on an immigration application in a four count indictment.

A message seeking comment was left for Lord.
