The U.K. Bravo network is aimed at young adult men, with programming including Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts, "The A-Team" and "Walker, Texas Ranger."
The show is a behind-the-scenes look at the Porn Week fantasy camp getaways started in 2001 by adult director Gazzman and entrepreneur and video director Dave West. Porn Week vacations offer vacationers a front row seat to a live adult set in places around the world. It has been featured in men's magazines Maxim, FHM and Stuff, and it was named a Top 10 adult destination by both AskMen.com and AOL.com. A hardcore version of the reality show, also titled "Porn Week," is available on DVD distributed by Shane's World.
"We knew Bravo's response to the show was tremendous and grew with each season, but this took us by surprise," Gazzman said. "We're planning bigger and better Porn Week events so this is great news. Our trip to L.A. was in the can when we got word of the expanded season and we're pleased that viewers will be able to watch us on our next stop, St. Tropez in France."
West said that the unique opportunities Porn Week offers fans — instruction by adult directors, evening events with porn stars and a chance for willing participants to get in front of the camera — makes for great television and explains the program's growing popularity on networks such as iNDEMAND in the U.S., Showcase in Canada and Bravo.
"What goes on during a shoot is something that many people wonder about," West said. "It's something many people would like to do. Visitors aren't usually invited to sets because they'd just get in the way, but Porn Week's organized so we can do our job and they can watch us work. The guests also get the chance to learn how the business operates and, unlike crowded fan and trade shows, get to know their favorite performers on a one-on-one basis."
