Corey directed the documentary “Lost In The Fog,” which details the history of the famous equine with the same name. Thomas is a friend of the horse's owner and trainer.
Lost In the Fog is considered one of the greatest sprinters in equine history.
“I have a wonderful photo from the winners circle at Golden Gate Fields when Foggy won the Golden Bear Breeders Cup race on May 14, 2005," Thomas said. "A photo of myself and trainer Greg Gilchrist appeared on the front page of the Contra Costa Times two weeks later as part of the feature story about the horse they named after me. I cried so much during the film that tears literally washed those 33 black lashes right off my eyes.”
