"Hustler Europe is pleased to say that we have had an extremely positive response to our Blu-ray titles so far and we believe ourselves to be the first adult company offering a P.O.P. display solely for Blu-ray in Europe,” Hustler Europe Managing Director Helen Clyne told XBIZ.
“We just finished an online competition with [portal website] Vienna.at and offered Blu-rays as prizes — the response was great.”
“As usual we involved one of our customers in this marketing activity and the prizes were picked up at an Austrian Video store in Vienna,” Berger said. “Hustler Europe is always looking for ways to use its name to be able to increase foot traffic into our customers stores."
While Hustler’s popular “Barely Legal” series was the first to be released in Blu-ray and standard disc formats simultaneously, Hustler Europe CEO Jeff Hawkins said it will add several more titles to the Blu-ray catalog, including “Gov Love: The Eliot Splitz-Her Story,” “Nina Hartley: MILF Trainer” and “Strollin’ in the Colon.”
“We have a great deal of confidence in our growing Blu-ray library and wanted to give our customers an excellent way to highlight their Hustler Blu-ray product,” Clyne added. “The P.O.P. display is a tool that stores can use to help increase their sales.”
