All-Star Legal Panelists Highlight XBIZ Summer '08 Obscenity Seminar

LAS VEGAS — The XBIZ Summer Forum '08 legal seminar is shaping up to be the hottest seminar ticket of the summer.

Legal Obscenities: The Present and Future of Obscenity Cases will feature an all-star lineup of attorneys discussing perhaps the most serious and pressing issue facing the industry today — the surge in obscenity prosecutions.

The distinguished panel — which includes Paul Cambria, Jeffrey Douglas, Allan Gelbard, Greg Piccionelli, Lawrence Walters and Louis Sirkin or Jennifer Kinsley — features lawyers who have worked or are currently working on some of the most significant obscenity cases in the country.

John Stagliano, founder and owner of Evil Angel, currently under indictment himself on obscenity charges, will also participate in the seminar, which takes place Thurs., July 10, at 10am, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

XBIZ Executive Editor Tom Hymes will moderate. "It is an honor to have such an outstanding gathering of attorneys, and John Stagliano, come discuss this very serious issue," he said. “No matter what you do or where you stand on the type of material being prosecuted, the danger to the industry in general, and the defendants in particular, is all too real and deserves to be discussed.”
