On Friday night, the scene at Fallout Shelter was what you’d expect at a well-attended adult production shoot, but it was an once-in-a-lifetime experience for attendees of this year’s Porn Week event, held in Los Angeles.
“The latest Los Angeles leg of Porn Week was an amazing event. It gave guest from around the world a front row seat to a live adult production,” said Plan 9’s Wayne Hentai, who helped organize the event.
“It gave a few of them a chance to get in front of the camera and perform in front of the camera, and it also was the American debut of Robyn Truelove, who I’m sure will have her share of American fans very soon,” Hentai added.
More than a dozen Porn Week participants from the U.K., Germany, Israel and the U.S. were treated to their first night of shooting at Friday’s party.
Harmony Films’ executive director Gazzman manned one of several cameras, as scenes played out in the cavernous studio space.
Male performer Oliver Sanchez took a turn with starlet Mia Lelani on a leather workout bench as attendees gathered around, some shooting video with their own handheld cameras.
A Porn Week guest named Doug stood by, snapping pictures with his point-and-shoot camera. All the way from the U.K., Doug said that he was having a great time.
“I’m directing a scene tomorrow, and doing one as well,” he said, with a knowing smile.
Shane's World's Megan Stokes told XBIZ, "They do what we do. This is reality porn. They get amateurs and porn stars and mix them together. It's a good fit."
Starlets posed for a cadre of industry photographers, while in the background a Porn Week attendee buckled his wife’s wrists to an aluminum spreader bar hanging from the ceiling. Several amused spectators looked on as he flogged her with a short rubber whip.
Fallout Shelter resident and adult director Eli Cross talked to XBIZ about starting production on his latest mega blockbuster, “The Blood of Virgins,” slated to start shooting in Eastern Europe in September. Cross’ partner and adult star Kylie Ireland sat perched in an upstairs loft area, overlooking the crowd and playing video games with male performer Christian.
Starlet Dana DeArmond sat at the kitchen table with a couple of guests. After doing a scene earlier in the day, she decided to stick around for the shoot and do some socializing. She had worked with Truelove earlier and told XBIZ that the new performer was a “real sweetheart” and very sexy.
Marco Banderas and wife Lisa DiMarco also were on hand. Banderas, later in the evening, performed a blowjob scene with starlet Casey Jordan, while Casey Parker and Brooke Haven watched. Haven also had a chance to perform a solo scene, which was shot by Harmony director David West.
Other adult personalities that made an appearance that night included starlets Nikki Jayne, Alexis Silver, Lisa Lipps and Priva, as well as veteran cameraman Jimmy D, LA Direct owner Derek Hay and A! Entertainment’s Tony Batman.
Porn Week events are hosted all over the world, including past trips that have taken participants to adult production sets in Eastern Europe, Cannes, the Canary Islands and Miami, among other locations. Guests are allowed to observe and participate in the productions, as well as attend special events associated with the Porn Week tours.
