FOXE 2008 Announces Show Lineup

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Organizers for the F.O.X.E [Fans of X-rated Entertainment] 2008 Follies have announced the talent lineup for this year’s event, to be held at the Whiskey a Go Go on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, on June 8.

The show, which previously gave awards in a number of categories, has evolved into a tribute-style format.

This year, the honoree will be ‘80s adult star Ginger Lynn, who performed in many classic adult titles including the Dark Bros.’ “New Wave Hookers” and who also was the first-ever adult contract star as a performer for Vivid Video.

Lynn will be “broasted” — a term coined by F.O.X.E. founder and adult veteran Bill Margold — by several colleagues who will be invited to pay spoken tribute to the star.

Performer Summer Cummings will host the show.

Entertainment will kick off with a dance performance from Déjà Vu contract star Sunny Lane, followed onstage by dancer Midori. S&M performance artists Double Trouble also will be featured, as well as a performance from exotic star Sandra London.

Magician Jason Jemini, who performs regularly at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles and had a role in mainstream blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean,” will be a featured artist at the show.

The last act of the evening will be adult performer Monica Mayhem and her rock band Sweet Avenge.

Several classic stars are scheduled to appear, including Amber Lynn, Debi Diamond, Christy Canyon, Taylor Wane, Bionca, Ona Zee, Kim Chambers, Anita Cannibal and Porsche Lynn, among other adult starlets who are expected to attend.

According to show organizers, cable network Showtime also will have a camera crew on hand to film the festivities.

The event is a fundraising effort for Protecting Adult Welfare (P.A.W.), a nonprofit adult industry resource organization founded by Margold. Part of the proceeds from the F.O.X.E. 2008 Follies will go to benefit the Henri Pachard Cancer Fund, which has been organized to aid the legendary director [aka Ron Sullivan] in his bout with the illness.

General admission tickets are $40. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at $100, which will allow media room privileges and photo opportunities with the starlets.

Adult industry members who RSVP will be admitted for free.

Red carpet arrivals are scheduled to start at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 9 p.m.

To RSVP or purchase tickets, contact Margold at bmargold@aol.com or (818) 501-6139.
