BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Adultvest will host a kickoff party for Erotica LA on Thursday, June 5. Festivities will include a prelaunch of the online investment community’s most recent acquisition, iPorn.
According to Francis Koenig the chairman of Adultvest, iPorn has been developed as more than a video-streaming adult site.
The site will offer users compatibility with their home theater system and a variety of mobile messaging systems, including iPhone, iTunes, iPod and AppleTV.
“We’ve been working on developing a platform for iPorn that will move into the 21st and 22nd centuries. iPorn is the next generation of adult online entertainment,” Koenig told XBIZ.
Koenig told XBIZ that version 1 of iPorn is expected to be launched by the end of the summer.
Adult performer Teagan will co-host the event along with ex-Vivid contract star, Lux Kassidy. Other performers schedule to attend include Jenna Haze, Joanna Angel, Ashlynn Brooke, Nick Manning and Tommy Gunn.
AdultVest, Inc., Red Light District, Rock Star Pin-ups, Platinum Blue Productions, Type 9 Models, Erotica LA and XBIZ will sponsor the event. Effen Vodka is hosting a complimentary open vodka bar from 10-11 p.m. and a VIP list will be provided for the adult industry and media.
Ritual Supper Club is located at 1743 N. Cahuenga Blvd.in Hollywood.
In other company news, Michael Weiss has been tapped as CEO. Weiss brings the company his extensive experience in the online and entertainment industries. He is the former CEO of StreamCast Networks, creators of peer-to-peer file-sharing product Morpheus and was the founder of WebRadio.com.
