“Folsom Prison” will make its debut at the upcoming International Mister Leather (IML) competition week, held in Chicago. This year’s IML takes place from May 22-26.
“We are very proud that ‘Folsom Prison’ is the first gay adult film released simultaneously on standard DVD and Blu-ray HD,” Titan director Brian Mills said. “‘Folsom Prison’ is one of the finest hardcore fetish films we’ve ever made, and is the perfect genre for high definition.
“For the first time fans of hardcore fetish will get to see the all the action up close and personal,” he said. “With Blu-ray HD you can see every single drop of sweat, piss and cum glistening on the hard muscular bodies of the performers. You feel like you could almost lick it off the screen.”
The movie has been filmed and mastered in full 1080 high-definition widescreen format on Blu-ray disc.
TitanMen exclusives featured in the video include Tony Buff, Diesel Washington, Rick van Sant, Damien Crosse and Alex Baresi, as well as Chad Manning, Derek da Silva, Vinnie D’Angelo, Markus Ram, Trey Casteel, Matthew Ford, Dak Ramsey, Dominic Sol and newcomer Bjorn Giger.
In March, Titan’s “Breakers” was the first-ever gay title released in Blu-ray format, directed by legendary director and Titan founder Bruce Cam.
The Folsom-branded line is the result of a collaboration between Titan Media and nonprofit Folsom Events, which helps to organize San Francisco’s annual Leather Pride Week events including the Folsom Street Fair.
Other Folsom-branded titles include “Folsom Filth,” “Folsom Leather” and “Fear.” A portion of proceeds from sales of the fetish-based line go to the TitanMen/Folsom fund, which benefits nonprofit gay men’ health organizations.
“TitanMen promotes fetish and leather play as safer and morally responsible alternatives to the growing trend of bareback within the gay adult entertainment industry,” Webb said.
“By portraying and eroticizing safer sexual alternatives, TitanMen hopes to lead by example,” he added. “While other studios promote and sell bareback films that portray and eroticize high-risk unprotected anal sex, TitanMen will hold firm in its steadfast commitment to the community by portraying and promoting condom-only and safer sex in its films.”
“Folsom Prison — 1080 High Definition Blu-ray Directors Edit” will be available in Titan’s online store on May 27 and will be available for wholesale orders on June 24.
