Sex.com Announces ‘The Pro & The Joe’

CALABASAS, Calif. — Sex.com has announced the addition of “The Pro & The Joe,” a new column that puts the spotlight on sex, gender and relationship issues, and features the point of view of an “average Joe” — Paul A. Johnson — and the viewpoint of a true “Pro” — adult star Candida Royalle.

Royalle is an internationally acclaimed pioneer in the field of women’s sexuality and eroticism. Her list of awards, accolades and associations within the industry and the field of sexology are too numerous to list — which stands in stark contrast to Johnson’s history, which proudly represents the average Joe, whose credibility comes from honest curiosity and experience rather than past accomplishments.

“The Pro & The Joe” will bring Royalle’s and Johnson’s diverse experiences and attitudes to bear on a range of issues and subjects of interest to both sexes. The common ground they help create among viewers, who start out curious and end up with a clearer understanding of each issue, is expected to be a huge draw for adult visitors to the new Sex.com.

“’The Pro & The Joe’ format allows Paul and I to delve into private topics, and provide some useful insight for readers without having them feel the kind of embarrassment they might normally be faced with if they were asking their friends and neighbors for advice or information about sexual topics deeply important to them,” Royalle said. “I think it is extremely valuable for both sexes to get a male and female perspective when receiving an answer to their question.”

“Most people believe they are part ‘Pro’ and part ‘Joe,’” Johnson said. “So a column like this one is a valuable tool for helping them to see issues with greater clarity. Candida and I highlight key elements of open and honest discussions about the kinds of things that affect the relationships of people everywhere. It really is something I’m very enthusiastic about because it gives me a chance to entertain and inform a lot of people at the same time.”

On a weekly basis, the duo will answer a user-submitted question.

“We couldn’t be happier to have ‘The Pro & The Joe’ on board,” Sex.com President Del Anthony said. “These esteemed contributors will provide our audience with a balance of views they can’t find anywhere else. It’s just this kind of informed and entertaining interaction with our adult visitors that will define the special relationship Sex.com intends to develop with its community in the months and years to come.”
