Shocker Enterprises, A-List Talent Team Up on New Video Site Launch

BALTIMORE — A new adult video-sharing site launches this week with the usual array of features, but this one has two twists: users will be able to influence the overall design of the site, and the site may help discover new female talent.

Online adult company Shocker Enterprises has launched RateMyShocker.com, a video-sharing site in the PornoTube.com mold. It offers embeddable videos, photo galleries, user profiles, social-bookmarking links and other standard features.

But the team behind RateMyShocker.com has teamed up with A List Talent Agency to find new talent.

RateMyShocker's Tommy B said that his site is already encouraging amateur users to post steamy videos of themselves. A List Talent owner September Dawn told XBIZ that she's looking forward to discovering new stars.

"We like working with new girls, because we feel like we're a good place to launch from," she said.

Tommy B added that site members may also influence the choosing of new stars.

“[H]aving the public actually vote on the future porn star’s pictures and videos only sweetens the deal,” he said.

Besides the collaboration with A List Talent, RateMyShocker.com also plans to get site members involved in the development of the site. Within two weeks, the site's proprietors plan to launch a blog that will track the site's progress and give users the ability to offer feedback on the site's design and functionality.

As of now, RateMyShocker.com is a free site with no plans to charge for any of its services or features. It has no popup ads or malware of any kind.

A List Talent launched this year. Its client list includes Alektra Blue, Amy Ried, Devon Lee and Charlotte Stokely.
