Tonja McDonald New Wholesale Manager for Stockroom

LOS ANGELES — Online novelty retailer Stockroom.com has named Tonja McDonald as its new wholesale manager.

"I'm elated to start my tenth year in the industry with such a respected company," McDonald told XBIZ. "I look forward to showcasing Stockroom's innovative products to the market and highlight their quality and craftsmanship."

McDonald's involvement with the adult industry career started when she saw the need for a "younger" adult novelty business in her hometown of Dallas, hiring several college girls to sell adult toys at hostess-based parties.

She moved to L.A. and accepted a position in Los Angeles with her novelty representative before moving to Pjur Group USA. She says she learned how to work with distributors and the value of loyalty at Pjur Group, which is known for the Eros line of personal lubricants.

As Stockroom.com's wholesale manager, McDonald will concentrate on sales with distributors.

"Tonja brings almost a decade of adult novelty distribution experience to Stockroom from working for two of the largest distributors in the world," Stockroom.com President Mike Herman said. "Not only does she have a fantastic reputation within the industry, but she is definitely a 'Stockroom fit.' Everyone loves her here."

Online since 1989, Stockroom.com offers high quality adult toys, fetish gear and fashion for sexually adventurous adults, with more than 3,000 adult products on its website.
