CalExotics Papillon Massager Created For Breast Cancer Awareness

CHINO, Calif. — Adult novelty manufacturer California Exotic Novelties has announced that proceeds from the sale of the newly released Papillion Massager with be donated to breast cancer resource organization Life Beyond Breast Cancer.

“We encourage all women to find ways to recapture joy and pleasure in their lives, regardless of a history of breast cancer,” Living Beyond Breast Cancer Executive Director Jean Sachs said.

“That is one reason we’re delighted that California Exotic Novelties is helping to raise awareness of breast cancer through sales of the Papillon Massager,” Sachs said.

“Another is that the money raised will help support our spectrum of educational programs including our website, helpline, books and pamphlets, conferences and meetings.”

The Papillion Massager is an ergonomically designed, waterproof massager with two speeds that comes in an “Empowering Women’s Lives”-themed countertop display that holds 12 of them.

The colors of the packaging and even the name of the product were derived from the signature colors of nonprofit Life Beyond Breast Cancer and its logo, a butterfly.

“The subject of breast cancer is one that is always relevant,” California Exotic Novelties founder and President Susan Colvin said. “Nearly everyone knows of someone that has been affected by breast cancer. Living Beyond Breast Cancer does a wonderful job in helping women deal with this terrible disease.”

“We view this as much more than a fund raising opportunity,” Colvin added. “The massager will also work as a vehicle to raise awareness about breast cancer and Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life, for those affected by the disease.”

Cal Exotic’s Director of Marketing Al Bloom added, "This is an honest to goodness public service project that really impacts women's lives. A portion of every sale goes to the organization.

“I really think this is something special for our industry," Bloom said. “We really need to get the retailers to put one display in every store, at every register, to show support.”
