The video stars Vivid Girl Briana Banks paired with male performer Manuel Ferrara, who also directed the title.
The movie is the first for Banks in a year, since appearing in Vivid’s award-winning “Layout.”
“We hear that Vivid girls aren’t as nasty as gonzo girls,” Vivid Sales Manager David Peskin told XBIZ.
“We wanted to show that a Vivid girl can be just as nasty as any gonzo girl in the market; and who better than Briana Banks? We thought it would be great for Briana to return back to her gonzo roots and work with the top gonzo company in the market, Red Light District," he said.
Peskin said that response from consumers has been strong for the title — announced well in advance of its release — especially from Banks’ fanbase, which has been long awaiting a video from the starlet.
“She has one of the most loyal fan bases in the business that have followed her for a long time,” Peskin said. “She’s one of the most recognizable names in the industry and, you know, this gives her fans something from what she did in the early stages of her career, which was all gonzo. It gives them something that made them become Brianna fans in the first place.”
Despite Vivid’s image as a pretty-girl, couples-oriented content producer, Peskin also pointed out that several of the companies lines could be considered gonzo style.
“We branched off into gonzo with our ‘Chemistry’ series, which has been very successful,” he said. “Although it is hard-edge sex and gonzo style, at the same time I would call it reality-based.
“We have ‘Chemistry 4’ coming out on standard and Blu-ray. Our ‘Brand New Faces’ line is more pro-am gonzo, and the same with ‘Team Squirt’ and ‘40-Inch Plus’ lines. Those are pretty much gonzo,” Peskin added.
But with “Perfect Match,” Vivid tapped Red Light to bring its patented gonzo style to the table, with production and editing typical in Red Light’s top gonzo releases.
Ferrara and performer Michael Stefano also return to their roots in the video, both being former directors for Red Light.
According to Peskin the video is packed with extreme hardcore action.
“Briana Banks doing crazy double-vag, DPs, ATMs, she squirts,” Peskin said. “It’s completely out of control footage — sick, nasty footage.”
