In the episode, Kross escorts Simmons to a party.
"I picked him up at his hotel, I rode with him in the limo, then I walked him through the party, then I sat with him at the party, then we took the limo back," Kross told XBIZ. "I think the cutoff shot was the limo rolling away."
Kross observed Simmons at close range during the evening.
"You can tell if he's irritated and you can tell if he's happy with something, but his voice never changes," Kross said. "He's even."
The one-hour season premiere has been the focus of a nationwide promotional push from the A&E channel.
