Savanna Samson’s ‘Wine & Film’ on Playboy TV

LOS ANGELES — Starting tonight, Vivid contract star Savanna Samson will pair her best film clips with suggestions for appropriate wines, for Playboy TV Late Night. The series will air at 11 p.m. EDT on Friday nights throughout April.

“I put my best into the films I star in and the wines I select. I’m happy to have the opportunity to share them both with the audience,” Samson said.

“Wines, like movies, come in many styles,” she added. “Some are florid and romantic; others are profound and complex. I enjoy pairing films with certain vintages to create a wonderfully sensual and pleasant experience.”

A wine connoisseur and vintner, Samson debuted her own 2004 Sogno Uno and was given 90 out of 91 possible points by wine critic Robert Parker.

Among her recommendations, Samson suggests a cabernet sauvignon for videos with a masculine tone, or a sparkling moscato d’asti for more feminine-focused features. Champagne is suggested for a romantic double feature.

The series is also featured in the April issue of Playboy magazine, on sale now.
