Cal Exotics Releases New COLT-Branded Products

CHINO, Calif. — California Exotic Novelties has announced the release of two new COLT Studio-branded products: a genuine cast of performer Luke Garrett’s penis and a new “Beaded Stroker” masturbator for men.

“The COLT brand has been a huge success for us,” Cal Exotics Director of Marketing Al Bloom told XBIZ. “It’s a niche market that enjoys a huge following — and gay men are not afraid to spend a few extra bucks for the high-quality products we have introduced in COLT Gear. We continually add to the line, and our sales have grown dramatically.”

Pairing the COLT brand with a well-known performer like Garrett has proven particularly successful, especially when one compares products across similar price ranges, Bloom said.

“If it’s a ‘Better-Than-Real Plus’ product without a celebrity name attached to it, the sales are considerably less,” Bloom said. “Of course, there are a lot of lower-priced cocks out there that sell considerably more, but that’s a price issue. People who fantasize about a favorite porn star, gay or straight, tend to chuck the expense and go for the gusto.”

Cisco Ybarra, sales manager for COLT, told XBIZ that his company had noted the same thing with respect to products endorsed by the studio’s biggest names.

“All of the genuine casts do very well for us, especially when it’s someone like Gage Weston or Luke Garrett,” Ybarra said. “Any of the products associated with a COLT Man sell very well.”

Cal Exotics described its new COLT Beaded Stroker as a “tight, soft and stretchy masturbator with 2 rows of strategically placed power beads” designed for “superior suction.” The Luke Garrett genuine cast is 8.25 inches in length, and hand-finished for lifelike detail. The cast carries a wholesale price of $46.95, while the Beaded Stroker wholesales at $10.
