Already winners of numerous adult industry awards this year, including Best Feature Movie from XBIZ, the Virginia-based company places particular importance on the XRCO nominations.
“Getting recognized by the XRCO for 'Upload' is very important because the members are all adult industry writers and reviewers,” SexZ.com CEO Bo Kenney said. "So we’re happy to see that they feel that 'Upload' merits big-time awards consideration."
"Upload" — at a reported cost of $350,000 — has earned a wide variety of nominations for the cast and crew, including cowriter and director Eli Cross.
"Upload" nominations include Best Epic, Single Performance Actress for Eva Angelina, Female Performer of the Year for SexZ contract performer Hillary Scott and Single Performance Actor for Derrick Pierce.
“'Upload' took an incredible amount of work to make, and I’m so happy we’re getting such wonderful reviews," performer Eva Angelina said. "All of these awards and now these XRCO nominations are great. It will be a wild awards party for sure."
Last year. SexZ Pictures took top XRCO honors with the political thriller "Corruption" and Kenney plans to fly to L.A. to join his cast and crew at the XRCO Awards show in April.
“I wouldn’t miss it. We had a blast last year,” Kenney said.
Other XRCO nominations for SexZ Pictures include contract performer Paulina James for Best Starlet, contract performer Hillary Scott for Orgasmic Analist nomination, Kylie Ireland for MILF of the Year and Eva Angelina in the Superslut category. "Upload" also received an XRCO nomnation for Most Outrageous DVD Extras.
