Raging Stallion Wins Big at GAYVN Awards

SAN FRANCISCO - The 2008 GAYVN Awards took place last night at the Gift Center event venue in San Francisco. The gala hosted a who's who of the gay adult industry in the multi-tiered party space, centered around all the action happening on stage.

Raging Stallion was the night's big winner with awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Sex Scene as well as Best Solo Scene Performance.

Raging Stallion exclusives Jake Deckard and Ricky Sinz won big for their performances in the studio's blockbuster title "Grunts."

"Who would have thought that sticking an AK-47 up my ass would win me an award, " badboy Sinz said during his acceptance speech for Best Solo Performance.

The show was emceed by Sirius Radio OutQ talk show hosts Derek and Romaine. In reference to a joke made on TheSword.com, when writer Michael Stabile had called Romaine a "houseplant," the award show opened with two ficus plants talking to each other onstage.

One said, "Have you seen any good assholes lately?" The other plant replied, "You mean like Mike Stabile?" "I mean good assholes," the houseplant said.

All Worlds Video's "Link: The Evolution" was the night's other big winner, with trophies for Best All Sex and Best Music.

Entertainment was provided by drag queen Lady Bunny, who performed a medley of skewed popular song parodies and later in the show, she also did a second set, taking jabs at fellow drag queen Chi Chi LaRue, Lucas Entertainment founder Michael Lucas and notorious Hall of Fame inductee Rod Barry.
