Smash Pictures Seeks New Directors

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Smash Pictures has put out an open call for demo reels from all experienced directors who would like to find a long-term home with the company.

Smash Pictures, producers of the well-received "Cheating Housewives" and "Teen Idol" series are accepting submissions from directors.

A few of the criteria:

  • Smash shoots hard and soft content, including straight-up vignette-style gonzo and niche-oriented porn. Visit Smash's official website to see all of the areas the company covers.

  • They're also seeking directors who have a full team they enjoy working with, including a videographer and a still photographer.

  • Smash is looking to give this director a home. Directors who have a lot of side projects and websites should not apply.

  • Smash will not hire directors who shoot content that features slapping, choking or ass-to-mouth.

  • The company is only seeking experienced directors who have previously shot adult content. They also want to start shooting edgier, more reality-based content. To that end, they're seeking forward-thinking directors.
