Marc Bell, Brad Shaw to Give Keynotes at XBIZ Hollywood Conference

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — XBIZ is pleased to announce the special keynote speakers for the upcoming XBIZ Hollywood ’08 Industry Conference — Marc Bell, CEO of Penthouse Media Group, Inc. (PMGI) and Brad Shaw of Shaw Investments.

The keynote addresses will take place next Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Blossom Room of the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, Calif.

Instead of giving a traditional keynote speech, however, each individual will engage in casual one-on-one conversations, Marc Bell with XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes and Brad Shaw with XBIZ President Alec Helmy. Shaw will open, followed by Bell.

Marc H. Bell is the CEO of Penthouse Media Group Inc. (PMGI). The company operates numerous social networking and adult entertainment websites and provides adult video entertainment, as well as Penthouse TV and a broad array of products and services via its numerous national and international licensees.

Penthouse Media Group also publishes and distributes Penthouse Magazine, as well as a widely circulated group of sister publications available in over 40 countries throughout the world. PMGI also recently acquired the massive dating network, Adult Friend Finder.

"I want to thank XBIZ for inviting me to be a keynote speaker at the Hollywood conference," Bell said. "Penthouse has made substantial investment in its future over the past few years, not only in the publication and all of our other products, but also in the future of adult digital entertainment itself. We would not have made those investments if we believed for a second that Penthouse could not meet the challenges that all digital media companies face today, and I look forward to engaging in a spirited discussion with Tom on a number of relevant topics of interest to me and hopefully the audience as well."

"Marc is a mover and a shaker,” XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes said. “He and Penthouse are making very serious investments, and I can’t wait to sit down and pick his brain about the future of the industry and his company."

Brad Shaw has been involved in the adult Internet industry since 1997. In the intervening years, he has owned and operated a number of successful Internet entities including siccash.com, freshwebmastercontent.com, rainbowrevenue.com, vipearnings.com and freshphotos.com. He also operates the popular industry chat board, justblowme.com.

"This will be different," Shaw said. "I haven't done a lot of public speaking, especially in this format, but I'm sure Alec and I will address some hot topics and we'll definitely try to it up."

“Brad’s been around for a long time,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “Because of his longevity, I am sure he will bring a very unique and valuable perspective to bear. I am looking forward to our conversation."
