James Bartholet Opens PR Agency

WEST HOLLYWOOD — Online entertainment portal L.A. Nitelife host James Bartholet has announced the opening of Galaxy Publicity. The agency will be representing both adult and mainstream performers.

“This is something I’ve been thinking about for some time now, and I’m happy we are finally getting this off the ground,” Bartholet said. “I’m expecting a great and prosperous new year. There are several very competent publicists out there, but with the growing number of talent out there now, we believe there’s room for more.”

Bartholet, who began his career in mainstream, has made numerous non-sex appearances in several adult productions over the past year including “Ashylnn Goes To College 1,2, & 3” for New Sensations, “Ava Rose Stripped” for Adam & Eve, “The Devil In Miss Jones” for Vivid, “Malibu Moms” for Le Mayzing, “J Ho” for X Play All Media and “Barely Legal Auditions” for Hustler, among others.

He was nominated for best non-sex role at the 2008 AVN Awards for his work in “The Real Boogie Nights” for Sex Z Pictures.

Bartholet told XBIZ that as well as issuing press releases and doing various other public relations for his clients, he also has opportunities for booking live appearances at mainstream red carpets and charity functions.

On Feb. 24, Bartholet and adult performer August will be covering the red carpet for Night of a Hundred Stars, hosted by Norby Walters and held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The annual event is one of Oscar night’s prominent parties, attracting mainstream celebrities and former Academy Award winners.

Bartholet, who has a degree in theater arts from Valley College, has been involved in numerous theatrical productions, TV and film, is also considering teaching an acting seminar for adult performers that would like to learn the basic elements of acting.

“Lots of performers have asked me about that,” he said. “So I’d like to do it. I love this industry and I’m proud to see how advanced its become.”

For more information, Bartholet can be contacted at (310) 652-0770 or by email at lanitelifejames@aol.com, or contact the agency at galaxypub@aol.com .
