Jawbreaker Candy Centerpiece of New Ball Gag From Stockroom.Com

LAS VEGAS — Fetish gear manufacturer Stockroom.com is introducing its new Jawbreaker Ball Gag, which comes equipped with an edible jawbreaker candy in place of the traditional hard ball.

“It’s a tasty new spin on a popular fetish item combined with a classic sucking candy that’s familiar to everyone,” Stockroom.com president Mike Herman said. "We expect the gag will serve as a lighthearted approach to those curious about BDSM, as a novelty for regular practitioners bored with the usual ball gags on the market and as a fun gift.” With the Jawbreaker Ball Gag, an edible round “jawbreaker” candy replaces the rubber or silicone ball of the traditional gag. It is inserted into the mouth of the wearer behind the teeth then the gag is buckled behind the head at the base of the neck, preventing the wearer from speaking in a coherent manner. The new product is being introduced at the Stockroom.com booth at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas this week.

The company has filed for patent protection on the unique design of the product, which utilizes nylon tubes to secure the candy ball. To maintain cleanliness, the gag can be disassembled and each component can be easily cleaned. The company anticipates the Jawbreaker Ball Gag will be popular as a party favor, a humorous "gag gift" and a comical coupling of the edgy suggestiveness of BDSM and the old adage of pacifying with candy.

The Jawbreaker Ball Gag is available at the Stockroom.com online store and the company also anticipates distribution through mainstream novelty retailers. Refills of sweet and fireball oversized jawbreaker candies are available.
