AEBN Announces Its VOD Award Nominees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Online video-on-demand provider AEBN has announced the straight category nominees for its annual VOD Awards. Now in its fourth year, the VOD awards honor the best videos, studios, and performers based on fan selections across the entire AEBN network.

"We're always excited to tally all the numbers at the end of the year to see what movies got the most minutes viewed,” Jerry Anders, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AEBN, said. “It's a great, fair awards system, and we want to thank all of our studios for doing business with us in 2007."

All nominees are selected from content provided by AEBN’s studio partners, while the votes are tabulated based on viewing habits of fans during the past year. Winners are picked based on the number of minutes a particular movie has been watched using a precise in-house accounting system.

Nominees for this year’s VOD Awards include: Gianna Michaels, Amy Reid, Jada Fire, Jenna Haze and Jesse Jane for Female Performer of the Year, Christy Canyon for Lifetime Achievement, and Coming Home (Wicked Pictures), Ransom (West Coast Productions), The Taunting (Spice Studios), Lady Scarface (Adam & Eve), and Boobalicious (JapanAnime) for Best Feature.

A complete list of nominees can be found at VODAwards.com.

Winners of this year’s VOD Awards will be announced next week. Past winners of the award include: Stormy Daniels (Best Performer), Mia Rose (Best Newcomer), Elegant Angel (Best Studio), and Secretary’s Day (Best Overall Film).

Nominees for the gay categories will be announced at a future date.
