COLT Man Mitch Branson Releases Dance CD

SAN FRANCISCO — COLT Man exclusive Mitch Branson has found an outlet for his talents as a musician/producer with the release of “Groove Compass.” Producing music on synthesizer and 4-track mixer for the last ten years as a pastime, this is Branson’s first full-length CD.

Branson was recently the star of COLT Studio’s blockbuster release “Hawai’i.”

On Branson’s MySpace page, he lists influences like Madonna, Moby and Deep Forest. ‘Groove Compass’ features driving rhythms with globally inspired vocals that give the tracks international flavor with sweeping arrangements. The sampling features a variety of genres and sound styles, as diverse as opera, electronica and Islamic-style vocals.

    • Fans can hear a selection of tracks on Branson’s MySpace page, and copies of ‘Groove Compass’ are available on the COLT Studio’s store page for $12.99.
