Vivid Releases 'The Sunny Experiment' on HD DVD

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment will release its latest title featuring contract star Sunny Leone, called “The Sunny Experiment.” Available in HD DVD and authored by Dimension DVD, this is the third HD DVD release from Vivid.

The two other titles available from Vivid in HD format are “Stood Up” starring contract star Savanna Samson and Paul Thomas’ “Debbie Does Dallas… Again.”

“The Sunny Experiment” is available for orders today, and will street Dec. 27.

“I think she’s the biggest star to only do girls since Janine,” Vivid sales manager David Peskin said. “For girl/girl scenes, she puts up Janine type numbers. This is a prelude to her first boy/girl, ‘Sunny Loves Matt.’”

Fans will be able to catch her much-anticipated first boy/girl scene in “Sunny Loves Matt,” which will feature Leone performing with her real-life fiancé, Matt Erickson. The video will be available in February.

“The Sunny Experiment” is directed by B. Skow and features a girl/girl with Leone and Vivid contract star Monique Alexander, a girl/girl with Leone and Celeste Starr, and a solo confessional scene with Leone. There also is an anal scene with Nadia Styles with Jerry Scott and Barry Scott. Marco Banderas and Cassidy Clay also are featured.

“Sunny is one of the hardest working girls in the industry and it certainly seems like her hard work has paid off,” Peskin said.

He also is anticipating big numbers for “Sunny Loves Matt.”

“I expect ‘Sunny Loves Matt’ to be one of the biggest titles of 2008,” Peskin said. “It’s amazing how many fans, consumers call about Sunny’s movies when they’re coming out, from all over the world, and we’ve already received lots of calls about when ‘Sunny Loves Matt’ is coming out. But for Sunny collectors, ‘The Sunny Experiment’ is a must have.”
