Kick Ass’ Kulkis, Carey to Dine With Bush

WASHINGTON — Kick Ass Pictures President Mark Kulkis will be attending a dinner with President Bush on June 14.

Kulkis, who serves as an honorary chairman on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council, told XBiz he will be bringing Kick Ass contract star Mary Carey to the dinner.

“We thought it would be good to remind President Bush and other Republicans that the we are businesspeople too,” Kulkis told XBiz. “You won’t find a group of people more pro-business than pornographers. We contributed more than $10 billion to the national economy last year.”

The NRCC, which is hosting the Bush dinner benefit, is comprised of businesspeople who advocate a progressive, pro-business agenda.

Kick Ass produces hardcore adult videos with a guarantee of “No Fake Boobs and No Condoms.”

Carey is the Los Angeles-based studio’s exclusive who ran for governor in California’s recall election in 2003. Kulkis served as her campaign manager during the recall election.

Over a two-day course of NRCC events preceding the dinner, Kulkis and Carey will be attending a meeting with presidential advisor Karl Rove, giving recommendations on national issues of importance.

In related news, Carey said that she may run for lieutenant governor of California next year.

“Since Arnold is a Republican, I thought this dinner would be a great networking opportunity for me,” she said.
