Vavoom Vice President Kent Wallace told XBIZ that the company had the idea for the show for a while, and when they learned of Michaels' numerous accolades in the fitness world, Vavoom wanted to sign her as soon as possible.
"There is no one in our business with the cache of Devon Michaels when it comes to a world-class physique," Wallace said. "She’s been honored and is respected as a fitness buff. Further, she has a bubbly personality and almost girl-next-door persona that makes her the ideal host of such a show.”
Production for "Get Pumped With Devon" is slated to begin immediately and the first episode will air in early 2008.
Michaels said she is honored to be a part of the Vavoom TV team and join contract stars Nina Hartley, Randy West, Rebecca Love, Tyler Faith, Aurora Snow, Mia Presley, Lux Kassidy, Lexi Carlson and Sunset Thomas.
"I can't wait to get America's blood flowing with my sexy, fun, totally naked workout, Michaels said. "I think we've finally found a way to get everyone to exercise."
