XBIZ Announces Seminar Line-up for Hollywood '08 Conference

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — XBIZ Hollywood '08 Industry Conference organizers have announced the educational sessions for the annual trade event, which will take place Feb. 6-8 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

This year’s offerings will feature a diverse mix of large-scale seminars in the Blossom Room and more intimate technology showcases and workshops in the multimedia CineGrill Room.

Also featured is a first-ever speed-networking event, in which participants will interact with a different member of the industry every two minutes. The seminar schedule will culminate Thursday with a keynote address.

The full schedule is available now and can be viewed here.

“This year, we have sessions that target some very key issues facing the industry today,” XBIZ publisher Tom Hymes said. “I am especially looking forward to the Piracy Roundtable, which will be an open session, and the two-hour time slot set aside for the Exploiting International Markets seminar. But those are just two of the offerings we will have for our attendees, for whom we are committed to provide unparalleled value.”

“XBIZ has developed a series of high-end seminars that will once again galvanize the attention and interest of the entire industry with the support of our wonderful seminar sponsors Commerce Gate, 2000Charge, World Wide Content and Pistol Media,” XBIZ Director of Sales Kristen Kaye said.

Registrants for the XBIZ Hollywood ’08 Industry Conference get an all-access pass, which gives them access to all seminars, showcases and special events, including the Cybersocket Awards, the official openning night special event, the 6th Annual XBIZ Awards, the Players Ball, as well as a number of additional special events that will be announced in the coming weeks.
