Factory Video Productions, Blue Alley Studios, Pumphouse Media, ThreshHold Media, Street Trade Studios and the other Burnt Brick Media studios are offering their website customers an exclusive deal for holiday gift giving: buy a second copy of any DVD they buy and only pay $0.01 for it.
“We have noticed a trend over the last few years of our fans buying DVDs for friends,” Burnt Brick Media partner Gord Reece said. “It seems porn is no longer the gag gift at office parties. Our fans buy multiple copies of a favorite title more and more.
"Our more reasonable price scale means that our customers would rather purchase a copy for a friend rather than pirate one. After all, they know that often buying two of our DVDs costs less than some other studios charge for only one," he said.
The promotion runs until Dec. 17.
“We value our fans. Especially fans that want to share what they have discovered with out our videos,” partner Scott Morris said. “We are in business with our fans. Now they can share that love for a penny."
