King directed Showtime’s hit series “Red Shoe Diaries” throughout the ‘90s and, more recently, Bravo’s reality series “Forty Deuce.” Movies directed and produced by King include “Wild Orchid,” “9 1/2 Weeks” and “Two Moon Junction.”
“Zalman King has consistently broken new ground when it comes to erotica,” Playboy TV Vice President of Programming Todd Schwartz said. “King’s unique story telling style presents ideas and admitted desires that will no doubt affect members of both sexes.”
The new episodes will feature erotic content from a unique feminine perspective. The stories are based on a series of women telling about their real life sexual encounters, as well as sensual fantasies.
“These conversations were so interesting, so filled with insight, drama and serious eroticism, that I decided to film them and share them with an audience. What could be better than beautiful women talking honestly and provocatively?” King said.
The new series will debut on Playboy Late Night beginning Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. PST.
