VividCash General Manager Leslie Sharp said that the launch of ShopVivid was in response to requests from webmasters looking for access to Vivid's line of products as well as increased affiliate revenue.
According to Sharp, webmasters will get credit for sales generated from traffic that goes directly to the store as well as on sales generated from exit traffic. The site also has an interface that allows webmasters to deep link into search results of their choice to facilitate more targeted marketing.
"We have had branded toys for years and it just made sense to add a store with the Vivid name to the program that would allow webmasters to benefit from our brand name and products," Sharp told XBiz.
Sharp added that VividCash is gearing up to add three more programs to its existing eight, starting with a dating site, a live site and a video-on-demand site.
"We're constantly thinking of ways to helping webmasters maximize traffic," Sharp said. "And response to the new store has been excellent."
